New Septic Tank Installation

Applying for new permit

Requirements are:

  1. Application ( available at the health department or download below )
  2. Soils Scientist report.
    If the property is in a subdivision, check with the health department to see if soils information is on file.
  3. Site plan.
    Plan must include the footprint of the house with dimensions, distances to property lines, location of driveway, pool or any other desired feature for the lot (tennis court, detached garage, etc.)
  4. Permitting fee of $275 for residential and $250 for commercial.
    Fee includes initial inspection of lot, designing the system and final inspection after the system is installed.
