Fayette County regularly engages in a process of planning for the future transportation needs of county residents and businesses. Transportation planning is the process of working with community members, elected officials, and stakeholders to define goals, policies, and future investments. Decision making is supported by a data driven analytical process.
In CY 2018, Fayette County is working on three major Transportation Studies:
The Comprehensive Transportation Plan update and the Master Path Plan are being developed jointly by one project team and are often referred to as the Transportation Plan.
In the fall of 2018, each of the three studies are presenting the draft recommendations to City, Town and County staff, elected officials, and the public. Listed below are scheduled meetings. Click the hyperlink, where available, to view the presentation material.
