Online Payments: The Fayette County Water System uses a third party bill payment service called Paymentus. To make a payment through Paymentus online click here or by telephone at 1-866-283-9832.
If paying a water bill online be sure to click on the link labeled "To pay your water bill". A $3.95 fee is charged for this service. Customers can also pay using their individual bank's online bill pay system.
Drop Boxes: We have several drop box locations for payment pickups throughout the County:
Peachtree City- 2 Locations - Regions Bank at Kedron Drive and at the corner of Crosstown Road and Peachtree Parkway.
Fayetteville- 2 Locations - the Government Administrative Complex at 140 Stonewall Ave and in front of our office at 245 McDonough Road.
Tyrone- 1 Location at Tyrone Town Hall 881 Senoia Road.
Bank Draft: Customers have the option of having water bill payments automatically drafted from either a checking or savings account. Bank draft forms can be completed at the Water System office at 245 McDonough Rd in Fayetteville or can be mailed to our customers upon request. To print the bank draft request form and instructions click here. Mail the completed form with a voided check or deposit slip from the bank account you wish to have the payments drafted. At this time, we only draft from checking and savings accounts - no credit cards.
Retail Payment Center: Many Wal-Mart stores offer options for customers to pay various bills, including the water bill; the Wal-Mart Money Center's are located near the Customer Service counter in some Wal-Mart stores. Customers will need a copy of their current water bill to make payments at these locations.
In Person: The Water System office located at 245 McDonough Road in Fayetteville, we accept cash, check or money order. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Mail: Fayette County Water System bills are mailed with a return envelope for payment remittance. Written correspondence may be mailed to: Post Office Box 190 Fayetteville, Georgia 30214.
