New Meter Service Agreement: At the signing of this receipt,I acknowledge that I am responsible for the billing on this meter until such time that I notify the County of a new resident moving into this house. Not signing this agreement does not alleviate the customer of responsibility of payment on the account. Further I, hereby grant access to the County to my property for the purpose of repairing,checking or reading the meter installed on my property. I also acknowledge that the meter box is Water System property and shall remain so, and the Water System shall have the Authority to control and regulate its use. I also hereby acknowledge that I am prohibited by County Ordinances from connecting my plumbing to any other water source while connected and receiving service from the County, included but not limited to, wells located on my property or any other private water supply and am required to notify the County of any such source either now present or in the future. It is the customers responsibility to install and maintain a pressure reducing valve on their plumbing line. With each meter installation, the Water System installs a backflow preventer. There is a potential for the customer to have a problem with thermal expansion from water in the hot water heater and it is the customers responsibility to have the water heater inspected. I acknowledge that the water meter has an antenna on the meter box lid, transmitter, and a computer chip inside the meter box. Use caution when lifting the meter box lid.

Notice: A monthly bill will be charged once the meter is installed. You must agree to the monthly billing in order to submit your New Meter Service Agreement.
