Plan Review and Permitting The Stormwater Management Department reviews all erosion control plans, site plans, preliminary plats, final plats, rezoning applications, and construction drawings for development and issuance of Land Disturbance Permits. Plans are checked for compliance with the Fayette County Subdivision Regulations and Development Regulations. These regulations are in part formed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division, and the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District.
