NEW YARD WASTE RATES
July 1, 2011 new yard waste rates will go into effect. The $1 rate remains the same for an amount less than 1 cubic yd. The new residential rate for yard waste between 1-2 cubic yards is $5. Any commercial customer or a resident with an amount over 2 cubic yards will pay a $15 minimum fee or $35/ton.

Yard waste disposal is part of the Fayette County Solid Waste enterprise fund and as such, yard waste management costs that include equipment and grinding must be recovered through yard waste fees.
