The mission of the Solid Waste Department is to provide Fayette County citizens with a reliable, cost-competitive, and environmentally compliant option for disposing and/or recycling residential solid waste and yard waste. This service is provided through an enterprise fund and thus operating costs are paid by fees collected at the County’s Transfer Station.
