Parade / Assembly Permit
Fayette County requires that persons or organizations that wish to conduct a parade that involves any public street or property in Un-Incorporated Fayette County obtain a permit from the Sheriff of Fayette County. In certain instances, any assembly of two or more persons that involves any public street or property may require a permit from the Sheriff as well.
The following link will provide a means to download a copy of the Parade or Assembly Permit Application. This document contains all pertinent information relative to submitting an application.
Parade or Assembly Permits are not generally accepted by the Sheriff’s Office more than 30 days in advance of the planned event or less than 10 days before the planned event.
