Meeting Room PoliciesThe Fayette County Public Library has meeting rooms for library programs (the Distance Learning Center and the Public Meeting Room), and makes these facilities available to nonprofit organizations within Fayette County (Maximum of four (4) meetings per year). The Distance Learning Center is available for small meetings and has a capacity of up to 15 people. The Public Meeting Room is available for large meetings and has a capacity of up to 150 people. Permission to use the rooms does not constitute endorsement or sponsorship of any program or event by the library. The library's name may be used only in reference to location, not sponsorship. Applications for use of the rooms must be submitted at least 10 days in advance of the proposed meeting. The library may cancel any reservation in the event of a conflict with a library program. Notice of such cancellation will be given as soon as possible. Organizations must notify the library of any cancellation on their part as soon as possible. The library cannot be responsible for items left in the rooms.
