1. What information will I need to register for a program?

• The 6 character course code located in the current brochure.

• The completed online registration form.
• A credit card or debit card number including the security code on the back of the card, or electronic check information

2. What do I do if the program is full?

Contact us at (770) 716-4320 and request to be placed on a waiting list by leaving your name and phone number. You will be contacted if a space becomes available.

3. Why is there a convenience fee?

Paymentus Corporation charges a fee to use its services. The fee covers payment handling and processing charges. A convenience fee of $2.95 per $100 will be charged for each transaction.

4. Does Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department receive any portion of the convenience fee?

Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department does not receive any portion of the convenience fee. Paymentus Corporation is an independent company providing a service for the Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department.

5. If I want to register for another program, why do I have to pay another service fee?

Currently each program registration is considered a separate transaction which requires a separate convenience fee.

6. If the cost exceeds $100, why does the Paymentus System not allow me to enter the entire cost of the program?

New regulations stipulate that convenience fees cannot be auto-calculated. After each $100 transaction, the payment must reflect the convenience fee.

7. What should I do if I cannot find a course code for a program?

If a course code is not listed next to a program, call (770) 716-4320 to receive a course code or come into the office to register - 980 Redwine Road, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

8. Can I view my registration online?

No, but if you have any questions regarding your registration, call (770) 716-4320.

9. What happens if I need to cancel a registration that I made online?

Refunds will be given, if requested in writing at least five days prior to the beginning of a program. Refunds will be given after the program begins, only with a doctor's statement of the participant's incapacitation, illness, or injury within five work days from the start of the class. A 25% administration fee will be charged if you cancel for any reason. In addition, the convenience fee charged by Paymentus Corporation will not be refunded.

10. If a program is cancelled by Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department, do I receive a full refund?

If you register for a program that does not attain the minimum enrollment, the total fee including the 25% administration fee will be refunded. If you register online, the convenience fee charged by Paymentus Corporation will not be refunded.

11. Are all fees required to be paid at the time of registration?

Yes, all fees are payable in advance. Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department considers a participant registered when a completed registration form is accompanied by full payment. Acceptable forms of payments are cash, check, or money order. Currently credit card, debit card, or electronic checks are accepted online only.

12. Can I register for a program if I live out-of-county?

Yes, you can register on a space available basis. Out-of-county fees will reflect a 50% surcharge in addition to the printed fee.

13. Can I register the same day that the program begins?

No, registration will be closed two business days prior to the beginning date.

14. Where is the office located?

The Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department office is located at 980 Redwine Road in Fayetteville, 30215 and is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
