Recreation Facilities
The Fayette County Parks & Recreation Department has picnic facilities at Kenwood, Kiwanis, and McCurry Parks which may be reserved based on availability. Any group, organization or individual must complete a contract for rental, sign a clean-up procedure form and pay usage fees according to the area in which they live. Out of county residents are assessed a 50% surcharge on top of the usage fees. Reservations are taken on a "first-come, first served" basis and can be made up to six weeks in advance of the event. Reservations must be made in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Activities House office.

Fayette County Recreation Department has picnic facilities available for reservations. All reservations are taken on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Reservations can be made up to six weeks in advance of the event. Reservations must be made in person at the office:

Fees that apply are due at the time of reservation. The reservation charge may be in the form of cash, check, or money order.

Refunds for the reservation fee will not be given; however, if your event is canceled due to inclement weather, the Parks & Recreation Department will reschedule your event based on availability.
Guidelines for Use of Facilities
The following is prohibited at all county facilities.
- Alcoholic beverages
- Camping or lodging
- Controlled substances
- Damaging or defacing property
- Erecting signs or banners
- Fireworks
- Live Bands
- Temporary carnival or amusement rides
- Vending or fund- raising
- Weapons
- Political activities
- Tobacco
