At the June 23, 2005 Board of Commissioners’ Meeting, the Fayette Heritage Project Committee presented a framed replica of the oldest Fayette County map known. John Dufresne, President of the Heritage Committee, said “The purpose of this project is to promote the heritage of Fayette County”. Pete Frisina and Tony Parrott, members of the Fayette Heritage Project, were instrumental in getting this task done.
