ACCG representative Sherea Robinson presents grant to Commission Chair Jack Smith.
The Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) presented the Fayette County Commissioners with an Employee Wellness Program Incentive Grant at a recent Board Meeting. This grant is presented statewide to promote work site programs designed to enhance the health of county employees and family members.
As part of the grant process, the county designated a Health Promotion Leader to develop a workplace health promotion action plan and to attend the Local Government Risk Management Services’ High Impact Health and Wellness training session.
“We are pleased that the ACCG recognizes our interest in employee health and in managing health care costs. This grant will help us provide new programs to our staff and their families,” said Commission Chair Jack Smith.
