W1 Basic Water Test [pH, phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), aluminum (Al), boron (B), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), sodium (Na), chromium (Cr), cadmium (Cd), nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo) and hardness]
W2 Georgia Expanded Water Test (Available January 2, 2002) (Required for design of water treatment systems). Need 1 Quart. (This test includes W1, W3, W11, W18).

Petroleum Products in Water
Before running these tests, the Fayette County Extension Service suggests running mineral analyses (W1 + W6 Nitrate-Nitrogen) first because of a combination of high iron bacteria levels can cause petroleum taste and odor.
W53 Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH)
Quart size amber bottles with Teflon-lined caps are available at the Fayette County Extension Service. Mason jar with aluminum foil under the cap may be substituted.
W54 Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Xylene (BTEX)
(required gas analysis) Submit sample in 40ml vial, available from the Fayette County Extension Service. Vial must be completely full.
W55 MTBE (Call the Fayette County Extension Service for special sampling instructions and containers).
