Law Enforcement Services

In the District Attorney’s office, we are proud of the various law enforcement agencies of the circuit. It is our aim to assist them in every way that we can as they protect the citizens and businesses of Fayette, Spalding, Pike and Upson Counties.

Communication is a major key to effective partnership between police and prosecutors. We have a fulltime position devoted to maintaining the very best teamwork between our office and the sheriff and police departments.

Teresa Harper is our Law Enforcement Liaison. During her years on the staff of the District Attorney she has closely observed the respective needs of officers and our personnel. She has seen how problems develop and knows how to prevent them from occurring. Now that she can devote the majority of her attention to the enhancement of our services to law enforcement, we expect the bond between us to become stronger than ever.
