  • Siblings are Brian Ballard, a law enforcement officer; Wendy Butler, an elementary school teacher at Sara Harp Minter Elementary School; and Kevin Ballard, a teacher at Flat Rock Middle School

  • Grandson of William Ballard, a former sheriff of Fayette County

  • Cousin of W.A. “Bud” Ballard, former long-time Clerk of Superior Court of Fayette County
