For your convenience we have complied a list of the most common types of inspections necessary for both residential and commercial building. This is not a complete inspection list and is intended to be used as a reference.

Types of Inspections: Pools

Niche Pool Electrical conduit and light-niche forming shells installed, bonded and stubbed out. Apply listed potting compound to the light-niche forming shells and junction boxes
Grounding Pool Basket, ladders, handrails, metal and all equipotential bonding complete
Ditch Cover-Up Electrical Trenches excavated and underground conduit in place
Ditch Cover-Up Gasline Trenches excavated piping and tracer wire in place (if required)
Gasline Pressure Test
Rough Electrical Rough wiring complete and trenches covered
Plumbing Pool Underground lines covered. Pressure test (15# min. 30 minutes) is required
Mechanical Pool Installation of heater equipment complete and ready for startup
Final Electrical Grounding of motor; location of GFCI outlets; all electrical complete
Clear Holds All re-inspections fees and holds must be cleared before scheduling Pool Final Inspection.
Final Pool Must Request A.M. or P.M. inspections – Access barriers complete; alarms installed; equipment installed; all plumbing, gas lines and heaters operating; all above inspections complete.
